Gifts to Bronco Athletics
All gifts to Bronco Athletics directly support the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Gifts may be designated to individual sports' scholarships or operations, the overall athletics scholarship fund or endowments. Please click here to make a gift to Bronco Athletics. There are many ways to contribute to Bronco Athletics in addition to a cash gift.  Please see these options below. 

Cash Donations
Cash gifts to Bronco Athletics can be made through checks payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation or by using your MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover card. Payment plan and pledge options are available. Please click here to make a gift to Bronco Athletics.

Payment Plans
Want to make an impact, but need to make it work within your budget?  Payment plans are available for your convenience.  You may choose to have automatic payments give weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually. If you are interested in setting up a pledge of $5,000 or more over a course of time period (i.e. 5 years), contact Brian Swanson at 909-869-2810. 

Estate Planning and Planned Gifts
Donors may contribute to Bronco Athletics through will provisions, life insurance, trusts, estate, IRA, qualified retirements assets, commercial annuities and other bequests.  Estate gifts may be made by gifting a designated amount, a real asset or residual bequest. 

Securities and Non-Cash Assets
Donors may give securities and non-cash assets to Bronco Athletics. Securities and non-cash assets include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, life insurance, collectibles or other securities. Donors may eliminate paying capital gains tax and receive an income tax charitable donation for gifts of long-term appreciated securities. 

Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their current or retired employees. This is an easy way to double or even triple your gift. To find out if you or your spouse's company has a matching gift policy, contact your human resources or personnel department, or you may click here to search for your company in the matching gift database. If your company is eligible, please fill out the matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. 

Gifts-in-kind
Bronco Athletics accepts gifts of items or service (food and beverage, athletic equipment, air travel, etc) that would normally be purchased to reduce expenses and are always appreciated! Subject to University approval and IRS regulations, the value of the contribution is credited to your account.    

Endowments – "Forever Green and Gold"
Endowments are an excellent way to ensure the continued support of Bronco Athletics in perpetuity. Each year earned interest from the endowment is used to support the program(s) specified by the donor and the principal is reinvested. An endowed scholarship can in your name or that or a loved one. You can also designate which specific program you want to support or contribute to existing endowments. 

Facility Improvements and Naming Opportunities
Bronco Athletics has a variety of naming opportunities. You may choose to name an area after yourself, your company or a loved one.
