Biography
In 2015: Competed in the 800 meters and the 1000 meters for the Broncos... Ran a 2:42.04 in the 1000 meters, a personal best.
In 2014: Focusing on the 800-meter race, he recorded a 1:56.26 mark at the Cal Poly SLO Invitational… That time set a new personal record.
In 2013: Competed in a variety of events including the 200-, 400-, 800- and the 1500-meter races… Recorded the team's top time of the season in the 800 with a 1:58:32 mark on April 13 at the Pomona Pitzer Invitational.
In 2012: Did not compete in the 2012 season... Earned a redshirt designation.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Montclair High School... Selected as Most Valuable Player of track and field team in 2011... Recorded personal bests of 11.3 in the 100-meter, 23.2 in the 200-meter, 51.7 in the 400-meter and 2:03 in the 800-meter... Also a member of the relay teams... Maintained a 3.4 overall grade point average and managed to attain a 4.0 GPA his senior year.
Personal: Son of Kevin Hamlin and Marlyn Dodge... Has two brothers named Brian and Kevin... Kinesiology major... Enjoys working on cars and hanging out with friends and family in his free time... Favorite movie is SW and favorite food is Italian... Favorite pro team is the U.S. Track & Field Team and favorite pro athlete is LaShawn Merrit... Aspires to become a physical therapist.
