Cal Poly Pomona's 75th Anniversary in 2013-14
Homecoming and Family Weekend - Feb. 7 & Feb. 8, 2014

Cal Poly Pomona is celebrating its 75th anniversary in the upcoming 2013-14 academic year and among the impressive list of events is a Homecoming and Family Weekend on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8. To start the weekend, Bronco Athletics will host an "Evening of Champions" Hall of Fame celebration. During the Feb. 7 ceremony that'll start at 6 p.m., CPP will re-induct the 51 current Hall of Fame members and also induct a new 2014 class.

There will be plenty of other fun activities during the Homecoming and Family Weekend. The Broncos' baseball program - national champions in 1976, 1980 and 1983 - will host Dixie State Saturday, Feb. 8, at 12 p.m. at Scolinos Field. On the nearby activity fields, the Homecoming Festival gets underway at 1 p.m.

After the festival finishes, fans and alumni will pack Kellogg Gym as the Broncos' basketball teams host conference rival Cal State East Bay for a doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m. The women's basketball program owns five of the Broncos' 14 national titles while the men's squad captured its first Division II championship in 2010 and went 28-3 this past season.

The weekend's schedule concludes with a Homecoming Dance, which will be held at the Bronco Student Center. To view a list of all the 75th Anniversary activities, access the university's calendar that is being developed. There will also be an events page set up soon that'll allow visitors to sign up for all of the different Homecoming and Family Weekend activities.
