Scott Lemone enters his second season as Broncos assistant coach. His main responsibilities involve recruiting and working with the Bronco pitchers.

Lemone 2008 as an administrative assistant at Division I power Long Beach State, where he served as an off-field recruiting assistant. The Dirtbags won the Big West Conference and were ranked as high as No. 3 in the country. That summer he served as pitching coach for the Battle Creek Bombers, a member of the collegiate Northwoods League.

This season will mark Lemone's fourth season of working college baseball. He served as Director of Baseball Operations at Cal Poly in 2007.

Lemone hails from the Bay Area suburb of Benicia and attended Concord De La Salle High School. He served as pitching coach at De La Salle in 2006 and with the NorCal Baseball Under-17 club.

He began his college career at Boston College (2000-2001), spent one season at Diablo Valley College (2002) in Pleasant Hill and wrapped up his career at CCAA rival Chico State (2003-2004). In 2003, Lemone compiled a 5-3 record and 3.54 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 40 2/3 innings for the Wildcats.

Lemone earned his bachelor's degree in Sports and Health Sciences from American Public University in 2008. He and his wife Maria reside in Garden Grove.
