Travis Taijeron finished his tremendous Bronco career by helping the Broncos advance to the West Region title game in La Jolla. On the week, he batted .533 with four extra-base hits. Opposing pitchers refused to pitch to him, giving Taijeron eight walks in the five games. He launched his 16th homerun of the season, matching his single-season record set in 2010. That marked homerun No. 32 of his career, putting him at No. 2 on the CPP all-time leaderboards. Taijeron joined four of his teammates on the All-Tournament Team.
