Although Megan Ford's rebounding average had dipped below 10 per game in recent weeks, she certainly made up for it this past week. The senior center grabbed 34 rebounds over the two home games, helping the 22nd-ranked Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team move back into a tie for fourth place in the conference standings.
On Thursday against No. 1-ranked UC San Diego, Ford totaled 17 rebounds to match her career high. She also added seven points and two assists. Two nights later in the 59-51 victory over Cal State San Bernardino, Ford notched her 18th double-double effort of her career with a 22-point and 17-rebound performance.
