Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Senior first baseman Chris Miller turned in an impressive week at the plate in helping the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team to a 3-1 record with a non-conference win over Grand Canyon Tuesday and a 2-1 mark against Cal State Stanislaus through the weekend. Miller tallied three multi-hit games, including a pair of 3-for-4 efforts. Miller capped off the week with a grand slam in the Broncos' 7-2 victory in the second half of Sunday's doubleheader.
