Ryan Carrell has competed in a number of postseason meets during his collegiate career but after Saturday's Pomona Pitzer Invitational, he said that this year's "Pack the Course" event was the best atmosphere he's raced in. With more than 100 fellow student-athletes cheering from the sidelines, Carrell and the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team finished third at the Pomona Pitzer Invite in Claremont. Carrell, a junior from Westminster, placed third individually with a time of 25:16.8 across the 8,000-meter course.
