Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Vincent Huitt, a senior from Downey, put together three top three finishes Saturday as the Cal Poly Pomona men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Rossi Relays in Claremont. He took second in the discus throw with a mark of 157-3 and posted another second-place finish in the hammer throw after recording a distance of 182-01.

For Huitt, the hammer throw performance earned him a "B" provisional qualifying mark - the first for the Broncos this season.
