Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Already one of the CCAA's best in 2013 in terms of wins and strikeouts, Kevin Bosson of the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team added to those totals on Saturday with a complete-game gem. In helping the Broncos take a series lead against UC San Diego, Bosson tossed nine innings while allowing just six hits and one walk. He struck out seven batters as CPP went on to win 6-0.

For Bosson, Saturday's game one win marked the second complete-game shutout of his career. The previous one came in April of last season in a 5-0 home win over SF State.
