The lefthander from Chino Hills tossed seven masterful innings Saturday, leading the Broncos to a 1-0 home victory over first-place Chico State to snap the Wildcats' 15-game win streak. After allowing four runs in the first week of the season, Dunn has given up just four scores since then. His earned run average has dipped to 1.50, ranking fifth among California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) pitchers.

The Chino Hills native finished with six strikeouts Saturday, the second-highest total for him in 2013. Making his 52nd career appearance as a Bronco, Dunn improved to 4-1 with the victory.
