Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

The Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field teams competed at the Pomona Pitzer Invitational in Claremont Saturday and the Broncos' performance featured an impressive "B" provisional qualifying mark and a series of personal bests.

Junior Samantha Swanson put together a strong showing in the hammer throw, recording a second-place distance of 164-0 to match the "B" provisional qualifying standard while improving on the program's all-time second-best mark she set earlier this season.
