Junior forward Ashley Lovett led the nationally-ranked Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team to two narrow road wins last week as the Broncos topped UC San Diego Friday, 73-67, before defeating Cal State San Bernardino Saturday in overtime, 76-73.

The Murrieta native averaged 17.5 points and 12 rebounds through the two contests while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 91.7 percent at the free throw line. Saturday's performance in San Bernardino was especially remarkable as she totaled 16 points and 15 rebounds in a season-high 42 minutes of action. Lovett and the first-place Broncos will return home this week to host Cal State Monterey Bay Thursday and Cal State East Bay Saturday.
