Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Sophomore forward Jordan Faison led the 23rd-ranked Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team to a pair of impressive road wins last week, including an 88-68 rout of 7th-ranked Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday. In that Saturday win, Faison totaled a career-high 26 points on 12-for-16 shooting.

The Lake Forest native also played tough on the boards, collecting six rebounds in each of the two games last week. Through the two victories, Faison averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 64 percent from the field. Faison and the Broncos will return to action this week with home games against Cal State Monterey Bay Thursday and Cal State East Bay Saturday.
