Junior right-hander Austin Boyle provided a key relief outing for the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team in a road doubleheader at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Boyle tossed four scoreless innings, scattering two hits and striking out four. The performance earned him his first win as a Bronco and lowered his season earned run average to 1.23 in 14.2 innings pitched. Boyle and the Broncos will resume their series with the Toros on Monday with a 2 p.m. first pitch at Scolinos Field.
