With teammates and relatives filling the tiered grass seating to cheer him on, Justin Ellerbee broke the conference championship record for pole vault with a height of 17-5.

Repeating as California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) champion in that event, Ellerbee remains No. 1 in school history while moving up to No. 2 nationally for 2014.
