Junior righthander Steven Farnworth led the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team to a win over Sonoma State in the first game of the CCAA Championships in Stockton. He tossed 8.2 innings, allowing four runs and striking out four batters.

With that performance, Farnworth earned a spot on the CCAA All-Tournament Team. The Broncos will start the NCAA postseason Thursday with an 11 a.m. matchup against Cal Baptist at Triton Ballpark in La Jolla.
