With a clutch third attempt at the 5-7 height, Cal Poly Pomona's Jessica Giacoletti ended up placing in a three-person tie for seventh place and earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division II National Championships.

The All-American result for Giacoletti represents an impressive return from injury. After missing the second half of the regular season, she captured first place at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships in La Jolla.
