Ever an impressive player, senior guard Terrence Drisdom provided a pair of solid performances to aid the Broncos en route to their two wins against San Francisco State and Sonoma State this past weekend.
Friday’s contest, in which the Broncos bested the Gators 64-32, marks a tie for the fewest points allowed in head coach Greg Kamansky’s era. Drisdom sank 5-of-10 shots from the field, including one from beyond the arc and a pair of free throws. The performance provided him with 13 points and he led both teams in the category. The Corona native also secured three assists, four steals, and a block in the matchup.
Saturday the Broncos faced the SSU Seawolves and earned the 70-48 victory. Drisdom put up 18 points on a 7-for-13 effort from the floor, including a three and three successful shots from the free throw line. The Eleanor Roosevelt High graduate provided two steals and a block in the contest as well.
CPP now holds a tie for first place with the CSU Stanislaus Warriors.
