With a solid performance in both of the Broncos wins over the weekend, Jordan Faison proved to be a driving force for Cal Poly Pomona. In the Green and Gold’s 62-51 victory over the Sonoma State Seawolves Friday night, Faison provided 16 points on a 7-for-13 shooting tally from the field. He also recorded three assists and a steal on the night. With the Broncos’ win, CPP secured a spot in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Postseason Tournament.
On Saturday night, the Broncos battled hard to the last minute in a 64-57 overtime win against the San Francisco State Gators. The Lake Forest native added 13 points for CPP in the contest, simultaneously adding five assists, one steal, and one block.
