Jordan Faison helped the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team cruise to a pair of home wins this past weekend as the Broncos topped Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills by similar scores, 70-50 and 71-53. Each night at Kellogg Gym, CPP took a commanding lead at the start. Faison averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks through the weekend. He also shot 47.8 percent from the field. Early in Saturday's game against the Toros, Faison scored career point No. 1,000. The Broncos return to action Thursday with a road game against Cal State San Bernardino.
