Cal Poly Pomona junior Rodger Mantor placed fourth in the pole vault Saturday at the NCAA Division II National Championships to earn All-American honors.

Entering nationals with a No. 8 ranking in the event, Mantor surpassed that spot with a personal best of 16-10.75. He earned the No. 4 spot on the award stand, joining teammate and national champion Justin Ellerbee.
