Sophomore Deanna Blaine provided the Broncos with a strong offensive presence during the week of Sept. 27 through Oct. 3. Her performance helped the Green and Gold in two conference matchups. The CPP squad fell to the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros on Tuesday but turned it around and topped the Cal State San Marcos Cougars 3-0 at home at Kellogg Arena. 

Blaine secured a total of 25 kills on the week, the better of her offensive showings being on Oct. 2 against the visiting Cougars. She recorded a match-high 17 kills and a .220 attack percentage. In her match against the Toros on Sept. 29, the gave the Broncos an impressive defensive show as well as she registered 20 digs in the match.
