Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Senior Jordan Faison helped lead the Broncos to a split weekend as they first topped the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes 82-72 on Friday, then fell to the #13 UC San Diego Tritons for the Cal Poly Pomona men’s basketball team’s first loss of the 2015-16 season. 

Faison tallied a total of 40 points on the weekend as he recorded 17 against the Coyotes and 23 against the Tritons. The Lake Forest native secured two double-double performances in as many games as he also tallied 10 rebounds against CSUSB and 12 against UCSD. 

CPP now holds a season tally of 12-1 and are tied for first place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) with the Tritons and Chico State Wildcats.
