Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

On Friday evening, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team entered Art Acker Gymnasium in Chico for their contest against the No. 8 Wildcats. The game was the ESPN3 Division II Game of the Week. The Broncos came back from an 18 point deficit to top the Chico squad by a score of 67-61. 

Earning the title of ESPN3's NCAA "Make it Yours" Player of the Game was freshman Jordan Ogunidran. The Chatsworth native helped the Broncos in a big way as he went 6-for-14 from the field with a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line to sink 23 points. The 5-foot-10 freshman also pulled down four rebounds, dished out three assists, and nabbed four steals. 

The following night in the Green and Gold's overtime loss to the Stanislaus State Warriors, Ogundiran tallied 15 points as he once again went 6-for-14 from the field. This time his on-court performance was coupled with 3-of-4 free throws to reach his total. He once again added four rebounds to his game.
