Lizette Huerta's victory in the 1500 meter run highlighted the final day of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships hosted by Cal State LA. Overall in the Championships, the Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field team netted four All-CCAA athletes.

Huerta posted a final time of 4:32.66 in the event, earning herself All-CCAA Honors with her title.
