Led by a strong performance from senior Symone Booker, the Cal Poly Pomona women's cross country team placed third out of 20 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday morning.

Competing in the 5,000-meter course, the Broncos totaled 94 points to only trail Arkansas' 28 points and Biola's 63. Booker finished 14th individually, crossing the line in 18:09.1.
