Led by a fifth-place individual finish from Elizabeth Olvera, the Cal Poly Pomona women's cross country team took first overall at Saturday's Pomona Pitzer Invitational.

The Broncos totaled 56 points, outdistancing themselves from the second-place Westmont squad and the rest of the field. Olvera, a Long Beach native, crossed the line in 22:32.3. The course in Claremont was 6,000 meters and it marked the final regular season meet for the Broncos.
