Luis Gonzalez recorded four goals and two assists Sunday at home against Cal State East Bay, enough to set a new single-game California Collegiate Athletic Association record for points in a match with 10. The previous record was set on Sept. 21, 2006 by Andres Ripa of Humboldt State with nine points on that day. Gonzalez also tied the all-time conference mark for goals in one game, matching Reinhart’s four scores from Oct. 2, 2009. Now with 12 goals and nine assists in 2010, Gonzalez holds the conference lead in points at 33. To start a tremendous weekend, he registered a goal and an assist on Friday in a 2-1 win over UC San Diego. The goal proved to be the match’s game-winning score.
