Ryan Carrell ran an impressive race Saturday, as he finished fifth overall to lead the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team to a second place at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships in Whittier, Calif. On the 8,000-meter course that circled Legg Lake, Carrell crossed the line in 24:58.0. With that mark, he earned All-CCAA First Team honors.
