Cal Poly Pomona sophomore Diego Duran overcame a muddy 10-kilometer course to finish 16th overall out of 147 runners to earn All-West Region honors with a time of 31:25.0, leading the Broncos to a third place finish at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships in Monmouth, Ore.  The Broncos will appear in the NCAA Division II National Championships for the third straight season and for the seventh time in the last eight years.
