Reyana Colson, a senior from Compton, Calif., led the Cal Poly Pomona women’s basketball team to a pair of road wins this weekend to stretch the Broncos’ overall record to 8-2. On Thursday in a 70-50 victory at Sonoma State, Colson knocked down 10 field goals en route to a 25-point showing and collected a career-high seven steals. Two days later in Arcata, she led CPP to a 61-47 win over Humboldt State. In that contest, she registered 13 points, four assists and four steals. Colson is currently tied with UC San Diego’s Chelsea Carlisle for the conference lead in scoring average, at 20.9 points per game.
