Dwayne Fells has been a consistent force for the Cal Poly Pomona men’s basketball team this season and during this past weekend, he helped the Broncos register two home wins and climb three spots in the conference standings. He got some rest on Friday in the 52-37 rout of Cal State Stanislaus, playing 26 minutes while still leading CPP with 10 points and adding four rebounds. The next night in an 82-68 victory over Chico State, Fells collected 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists. He has established himself as one of the premier post players in the CCAA, recording double-digit point totals in nine of the 12 contests so far this season while shooting a league-best 68.3 percent.
