Bill Leedom became Cal Poly Pomona's first basketball All-American upon the conclusion of the 1962-63 season.

In his final season, the Los Angeles native averaged 18.3 points and 11.7 rebounds in 26 games. His 204 field goals that season ranks seventh in CPP history.
