Cal Poly Pomona's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Internet Consulting Services (ICS) reached an agreement this past spring to coordinate a new Web site for Bronco athletics. 

The launch took place Oct. 20, 2009, and brings Broncos athletics to a new age in publicizing CPP's student-athletes, coaches and teams. 

“Technology plays an ever increasing role in today's world and our partnering with ICS in launching our new Web site brings us closer to staying current with the Internet,'' CPP Sports Information Director Mark Reinhiller said. “Our student-athletes and coaches work extremely hard representing our school in athletic competition. This Web site allows us to stay on the “cutting edge'' of bringing our fans and parents and alumni closer to the action.'' 

Founded in 1996, Internet Consulting Services Inc. provides clients with innovative technological solutions for their web needs. Since its founding, ICS has pioneered technologies in web design, content management systems, e-commerce solutions, and many other areas. 

ICS's key technology is SIDEARM (Sports Information Distribution Engine with Archives and Records Management), a web-based content management solution that includes everything from press release and roster management, dynamic scoreboards, sponsorship recognition, interactive polls, SIDEARM STATS (live in-game statistics), streaming audio and video, and newsletter and recruiting components. 

More than 315 universities that include Syracuse University and the University of Hawai'I, and now Cal Poly Pomona, are clients of ICS.
