POMONA – In a see-saw battle, it was CSU Stanislaus who prevailed in four games (25-18, 29-27, 19-25, and 26-24) over Cal Poly Pomona. Both teams were a bit slow starting, but the hitting picked up in game two and continued throughout the match.
With the loss, the Broncos are now 4-9 overall and 2-6 in the CCAA and host CSU Chico on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Darlene May Gym. Kaycee Gow lead the Warriors, who move to 9-4 overall and 6-2 in the CCAA and travel to CSU San Bernardino for a Saturday night contest.
