GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A much improved Broncos' men's tennis team took on No. 25 Midwestern State and were dealt a 5-4 loss in the final day of the Presidents' Day Duals, sponsored by Grand Canyon University and the Paseo Racquet Club.
"We showed a great deal of improvement after our loss to BYU Hawaii on Saturday,'' Broncos coach Sandy Kriezel said. "It was a good, college match. I like our team and we're going to get better.''
The Broncos took all three doubles matches, but won just once in singles. Junior #

Kevin Singer# earned an 8-4 victory at No.1; #Josh Lau and
Keith Boggero won at No. 2 and Robby Dabbs and
Shane McNulty# won at No. 3.
Dabbs went on to earn the only singles victory, winning on a tiebreaker at No. 1.
The Broncos are off until Saturday when they play host to Redlands.
