POMONA -- Coach Sandy Kriezel utilized a lineup with a few different looks Friday, but the results were just fine.
The Broncos rolled past nonconference La Verne 9-0 in women's tennis at the Kellogg Tennis Complex.
Senior
Mallory Brady earned the start at No. 1 and earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Kelly Griffith. Junior
Kaitlin Wooldridge turned back Jessenia Garcia at No. 2, 6-1, 6-4 and junior
Michelle Stock routed Megan Dean 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 4, senior
Fallon Blattner earned the start and received a stellar 6-0, 6-0 win over Katrinea Tormos 6-0, 6-0 and teammate
Jessica Winkler earned a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Freshman
Jennifer Buchanan was given her first start of her career and rewarded her team with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6.
In doubles, junior
Jennifer Chow and sophomore
Jackie Trendt earned an 8-0 win and freshman
Christie Lau and Wooldridge won 8-1 at No. 2. Winkler and Brady teamed up at No. 3 and won 8-2.
The Broncos are scheduled to play Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday, weather permitting.
