POMONA -- A pair of wins in doubles play gave Cal Poly Pomona the momentum it needed as the Broncos snapped a six-match losing streak with a sound 6-3 win over West Region foe Grand Canyon in men's tennis Thursday at Kellogg Tennis Complex.
Senior
Joshua Lau and junior
Keith Boggero earned a doubles win at No. 2 and senior
Robby Dabbs and junior
Shane McNulty earned an 8-0 shut-out win at No. 3.
Four of the six singles matches went CPP's way as Dabbs picked up a win at No. 1 as did No. 3 freshman
Kevin Singer, McNulty at No. 4 and Boggero at No. 6.
The Broncos, now 2-6, face another West Region foe in Hawaii Pacific on Friday at CPP.
