POMONA -- Cal Poly Pomona dominated Dominican in women's tennis Sunday, earning a 9-0 win over the Penguins.
DU dressed just five players, thus the Bronocs earned two forfeit wins -- at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
CPP made quick work of its opponent, as DU won just three games as CPP shut out DU in three singles matches and both of its doubles matches.
Improving to 10-1 on the season was junior
Kaitlin Wooldridge, who defeated M. Freita, 6-0, 6-1. Senior
Fallon Blattner is now 5-1 overall with her No. 3 singles win (6-1, 6-1).
Freshman
Jennifer Buchanan picked up a win at No. 4 singles for CPP, which has won its four consecutive matches and stands 9-3 overall. The freshman is 2-0 on the season.
CPP is off until Friday when it takes on visiting Western New Mexico.
