SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team members shared their inner child with preschool children at Springfield's Square One on Tuesday morning, while participating at this week's NCAA Elite Eight Tournament.

The Broncos took part in Tuesday's Community Service program and their role took place with the children. The team played basketball with the youngsters -- albeit on plastic basketball hoops -- and made the most of their hour with an assortment of fun and games.

The Broncos take on St. Joseph's of Indiana at 6 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the MassMutual Center, located in the birthplace of the sport -- Springfield, Mass. The game will be Web cast and Audio cast on www.ncaasports.com.

Square One, formerly the Springfield Day Nursery, has been providing early education and child care support to working families in Western Massachusetts for more than 124 years with educational programs, family support services, health and fitness resources, and a voice in the community.

Square One operates four children's centers within the city of Springfield and one in Holyoke.
