POMONA -- No. 15 UC San Diego ran its CCAA winning streak to 64 straight with a 6-3 win over No. 25 Cal Poly Pomona in conference women's tennis Wednesday.
Junior
Jennifer Chow and sophomore #Jackie Trendt@# earned the Broncos' only doubles victory with an 8-6 decision over Taskeen Bains/Roxanna Pourmirzaie.
Chow and Trendt are 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in CCAA.
In singles play,
Christie Lau improved to 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the CCAA with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Taskeen Bains. Trendt followed with a 6-2, 7-6 win over Cindy Dao at No. 2. Trendt improved to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in the CCAA.
The Broncos head north this week with two pivotal CCAA matches -- Friday at CSU Stanislaus and Saturday at Sonoma State.
