COSTA MESA -- Vanguard was too tough of an opponent for the Cal Poly Pomona men's tennis team as the Broncos dropped a 6-3 decision Tuesday.
Earning wins in singles competition for the Broncos were junior
Salvador Romero (6-4, 6-4) at No. 3 and junior
Keith Boggero at No. 6 (6-3, 7-5).

Robby Dabbs and junior
Shane McNulty pulled out an 8-4 win in No. 3 doubles.
CPP faces Whittier on Saturday at the Kellogg Tennis Complex.
