Former Bronco Wilson pitches at Triple-A Reno

Makes 2010 debut for Diamondbacks' top farm club

RENO -- Former Cal Poly Pomona RHP Brad Wilson made his 2010 debut for the Arizona Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate Reno on Tuesday night.

The Garden Grove native, who was selected in the 33rd round of last year's Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft, started for the Aces in their game against the Iowa Cubs. He threw 59 pitches in four innings. He allowed three hits and three runs and struck out one with three walks.

Former Arizona Diamondback Chad Tracy hit a solo home run off the right-hander.

In Wilson's only season at CPP, he went 3-6 with a 4.99 ERA and made six starts and shared the lead in saves with four. He threw 52 1/3 innings and allowed 59 hits and posted 41 strikeouts and 29 walks.
