ROHNERT PARK – The Broncos jumped out to an early 2-0 game lead, but could not hold on, losing in five sets to Sonoma State (25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 10-25 & 8-15).  Kristen McNeese and Lindsey Poulos led the Broncos in hitting, while Katie Colin recorded 42 assists in the loss.

The Broncos are now 3-7 overall and 1-4 in CCAA play.   Cal Poly Pomona travels to Humboldt State to take on the Lumberjacks on Saturday.  Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
