POMONA, Calif. - In leading the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team to winning seasons in 10 of the last 11 years and a national title in 2010, head coach Greg Kamansky has built the Broncos' program into one of the most consistent contenders at the Division II level.

Not surprisingly, Kamansky received mention on the list of "Top 25 Non-Division I Head Coaches" announced by CollegeInsider.com this week.

Prior to Kamansky taking the reins of the CPP squad, the Broncos achieved a spot in the NCAA postseason just three times in the first 52 years of the program's history. In his 11 seasons with CPP, he has led the Broncos to the playoffs on six occasions.

In that span, Kamansky has guided the Broncos to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight four times while capturing the California Collegiate Athletic Association title three times. After the 2010 championship season, he earned selection as the National Coach of the Year.
