ROHNERT PARK, Calif. –  The Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team ended its five-match road swing Sunday with a 5-0 loss at Sonoma State.

The Seawolves seized momentum early with an 11-0 shot advantage through the first half and the hosts scored three goals in that span as well.

With the victory, SSU stays undefeated at 6-0-0 overall and 4-0-0 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play. CPP falls to 2-3-0 overall and 1-3-0 through conference action.

J.J. McFarlin scored two of the Seawolves' goals while Lauren Fryer added a score and two assists. SSU first got on the scoreboard on a Broncos' own goal.

A pair of CPP netminders split time in net Sunday with redshirt freshman Alex Abbott getting her first career minutes as a Bronco in the second half.

On offense for the visitors, Alison Sauve and Aneska Alino paced CPP in shots with two apiece.

The Broncos will play their first home game of 2012 on Friday with a 7 p.m. contest against UC San Diego as part of "Pack the Stands Night."
