POMONA, Calif. - Of the four senior student-athletes on last year's Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team, two are now in the program's all-time top-10 for games played.

Despite all of that lost experience, the Broncos' 2012-13 senior class also features a veteran leader in Mitchel Anderson. An All-West Region honoree last season, Anderson is actually on pace to break CPP's record for games played.

Head coach Greg Kamansky enters his 13th season with the Broncos and on Wednesday, he announced this season's schedule for CPP. The 26-game regular season slate features the highly-competitive 22 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) contests paired with four non-conference matchups.

The Broncos open the 2012-13 campaign at Kellogg Gym with a Nov. 13 matchup against The Master's College. CPP and the Mustangs engaged in a close contest last year in Santa Clarita, with the Broncos capturing a thrilling 58-56 road victory. TMC competes out of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) of the NAIA.

After that non-conference tuneup, CPP will then get an early jump on conference play with a Nov. 21 road game at Humboldt State. In the 14 meetings between the two teams during Kamansky's tenure, the Broncos and Jacks have split the series with seven wins each. HSU defeated CPP, 74-70, in the semifinal round of the CCAA Tournament last year to end the Broncos' season.

CPP will remain in Northern California for the holiday week as they'll compete in the sixth-annual Notre Dame de Namur Thanksgiving Classic held in Belmont. The Broncos challenge the host NDNU squad on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. and then wrap up the busy week with a 5 p.m. game the next day against Fresno Pacific. Before joining the CPP program in 1998, Kamansky served as an assistant coach and assistant athletic director at FPU.

After resuming the conference schedule with a pair of road matchups at Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus, the Broncos will return to Kellogg Gym to host the Bethesda Flames on Dec. 8. One week later, CPP will complete its regular season series with the HSU Jacks in a 7:30 p.m. home contest.

CPP has four Thursday regular season home games in the 2012-13 season and the two in January will draw plenty of attention. The Broncos host Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Jan. 5, and less than two weeks later, Sonoma State visits Kellogg Gym as part of "Pack the Stands Night."

In the same fashion as last year, CPP concludes its 2012-13 regular season with home contests against Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills. The Toros and Broncos will tipoff at 5:30 p.m. in Kellogg Gym on Friday, March 1, for the regular season finale. That date will also feature "Senior Night" and "Return of the Pack" festivities.

The CCAA Championship Tournament will begin play at campus sites on Tuesday, March 5, before the semifinals and finals are played at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. In the five-year history of the CCAA Basketball Championships, the Broncos' men's basketball program has reached at least the semifinal stage in all five seasons.

All teams at the Division II level will be aiming for postseason trips to Louisville, Ky., and Atlanta, Ga. Freedom Hall in Louisville will be the site of the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds from March 28 to March 30 and then the national title game will be held at Philips Arena in Atlanta on April 7. The NCAA is celebrating the 75th Division I Men's Basketball Championship in 2013. As part of the celebration, all three men's basketball championships (Divisions I, II and III) will be played in the same city and weekend.
