Box Score | POMONA, Calif. - After falling on the road Saturday at Cal State L.A., the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team bounced back in a big way with a 96-48 home win over Cal State Stanislaus Thursday.
The 96 points is the highest amount for the Broncos since 2005, when CPP collected 100 points against San Francisco State.

Thursday's victory raises the Broncos' marks to 11-6 overall and 9-4 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. CPP will host first-place Chico State Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Freshman
Cydnie Jones turned in a spectacular performance Thursday as she collected a season-high 15 points to go along with nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
The Broncos turned the ball over a season-low six times while forcing 20 turnovers from the visiting CSUS squad. CPP also outrebounded the Warriors, 46-38.

Mian Dingle (13 points),
J.J. Judge (13),
Rian Mew (12) and
Lisha Elsenbach (10) joining Jones in that category.
With five minutes completed in Thursday's game, CPP held a slim 10-8 lead. Through the next nine minutes though, the Broncos put together a 22-0 run that featured a balanced attack led by Jones and Dingle. The halftime score settled at 52-17 in favor of CPP.
Judge drained a three-pointer to open the second half after getting an assist from
Jennifer Bryant. The Broncos' offense continued to roll and the margin pushed as wide as 53 points before finishing in the 48-point victory for the host squad.
The Broncos held the Warriors to a 26.4-percent shooting effort from the field and a 3-for-12 showing from beyond the arc. CPP shot 77.8 percent at the free throw line as Mew led the way with an 8-for-10 performance.
The Broncos will now turn its attention to Saturday's opponent - Chico State. The Wildcats topped Humboldt State Thursday and are ranked No. 12 nationally.
