POMONA, Calif. - During the Feb. 2 women's basketball game at Kellogg Gym, Cal Poly Pomona honored the program's 1982 NCAA Division II National Championship team during a halftime ceremony. To watch video of the celebration, click here.

With legendary coach Darlene May leading the way, the Broncos' 1982 title marked the first of five in the program's storied history.

Eight members of the 1981-82 team were in attendance for the Feb. 2 ceremony: Barbara Fulton, Maureen Flynn-Becerra, Barbara Francis, Kelley Fraser, Diane Looker, Robin Fox, Jeannette Montgomery and Lisa Ulmer.

A few days later, Michelle Gardner of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin featured the 1982 squad in a Monday "Local Colleges" column.
